Picture this, a hot summer day, you are running errands wearing a pair of sandals or flip flops, because lets face it, it's too hot for socks. Later in the evening you make it back home and begging to remove your sandals only to find the heel of your foot swollen, red and quite rigid.

Or even, spending the whole day at a desk job, resting your elbows against the firm surface. By the end of the day, just graze your hands over your elbow, how does that feel? Rough? Bumpy? Is it the same color as the rest of your arm?

We are constantly overloaded with things in our lives; sometimes we lose sight of the small things that are actually essentials in a woman's world. As much as moisturizing is important, exfoliating your skin is as important. There are many ways to exfoliate your skin, however my personal favorite, and let me just say this never failed me, is body scrub. Especially in the summer, I make sure to buy one that smells like fresh grapefruit or coconut and give my skin a little pampering session.

As you rub the small grains of salt across the skin, you are slowly removing all the dead skin cells, leaving room for the new cells to grow. More importantly, your skin will feel instantly smooth, giving off that light glow.

Did you know that when you scrub before a vacation, your tan will be steady and last longer?

Body scrub basically detoxifies your skin; we put a lot of creams, lotions or even make up on our bodies from time to time. Body Scrub guarantees the removal of all applied cosmetics. I would recommend using the body scrub in the shower. Scrub your body, emphasizing on areas like knees, elbows, and heels and wash it away with the water.

Remember, yes the body scrub leaves your skin fresh, clean and smooth, it also leaves skin extremely sensitive and easily irritable. After you wash away the scrub, apply baby oil all over the areas you scrubbed. Don't wash it all away, just rinse it, and when drying with a towel, be sure to just pat down the towel, no friction.

Leave the baby oil to be absorbed into your skin, and do not apply any scented moisture that day, so as not to irritate your skin. The next morning, I promise you, you will see a very noticeable difference in your skin. Repeat this process 2-3 times a week, and as the days go by, you will have baby smooth skin constantly.
