Amina Khalil, the designer behind local fashion label, Amina K., is one of my favorite Egyptian fashion designers. Mainly because I've witnessed how she steadily grew her label for the past five years, and how she maintains a certain Egyptian aesthetic that you can feel in her collections. You'd probably know Amina K. for her ready to wear collections, however, the label also has an eyewear line, and they just launched their Spring Summer 2014 collection.

Amina K.'s eyewear collection is in
collaboration with Baraka Group, and this is the third time they work
together to produce a wide range of sunglasses and optical wear for both
women and men. Proving that it's all in the details, my favorite bit
about the Amina K. eyewear collection, is a tiny eagle placed on the handle of the glasses, just like the one on the Egyptian flag. Pretty
