DOs and DON'Ts: Halloween Costumes
Let's face it, the spook factor has disappeared from the Halloween events over the years. Halloween has become all about dressing up as creatively and sexy as possible. People either imitate celebrities, or put on a mask. My idea of a good Halloween costume is measured by how creative a person puts their costume together.
Take for example Alessandra Ambrosio, she spiced up the idea of playing cards to a whole new level. Of course she looks sexy, she is a Victoria's Secret model after all, but she also managed to portray a modern day Queen of Hearts. Do go for an original costume like Queen of Hearts, and avoid the sexy cliches. Do go all out for a costume, attention to detail is key, just like her socks and the cute little heart drawn on her cheekbone.
Sandra Bullock scared the hell out of me. For god's sake woman, you are taking your child to a Halloween event, where there are kids! I wonder how much they screamed? If you are planning on going as a scary whatever this Halloween, don't do it at a nursery event. More importantly ladies, there are scary outfits you can use for Halloween and still manage to look feminine. More importantly, don't wear a pair of ugly looking slippers with your costume, spring for some loafers or even a Converse.
