DOs and DON'Ts: Mix and Match
We see the stars in their custom-made and couture gowns making their way to the red carpet. However, I have to say I am quite fascinated by celebrity street style, how they mix and match their high end with their high street, and most importantly you can tell a lot about a person by the way they dress on a usual day.
Jessica Alba whether dressed down in jeans or up for a photo shoot, the cool mum always manages to look absolutely cute. Walking the streets of L.A, Jessica wore some black sweatpants, a loose graphic tee, black flats and a fedora hat. She accessorized her look with a layered scarf and a black and white Michael Kors tote. If you are heading out to run some errands, do get inspired my Jesscia Alba's casual look and go for comfortable chic. Do accessorize a casual look to spice up your outfit. Sweatpants and flats never looked better.
Nicole Richie is all about bold fashion statements as seen at the Met Gala. Making an appearance in LA, she paired up two prints together, floral and monochrome, major don't. If you are as skinny as Nicole, do not go for silk georgette pants, it will just give off that you are wearing pants a size bigger. Do not mismatch monochrome and floral, these are two trends that really need to be dressed down with plain items. Sorry Nicole, jeans would have been a better option.
