Kate Spade always has a way of making the retro seem so eclectic and modern. How? Her choice of colors, attention to detail when in comes to the accessories, and the unique hairstyles. Here are five things about Kate Spade Fall 2014 collection:
1. The Fall 2014 collection was inspired by the Creative Director's travels to Japan and China, which is why the clutches have 'TOKYO' written on them in rainbow letters.
2. The collection had a bright palette, mixing colors like ocean blue and green. However, it wouldn't be a fall collection without leopard prints and a little bit of monochrome.
3.The accessories were quirky as usual, some of the clutches were in the shape of Chinese take out menus, birdcages and a metallic fan clutch. A sophisticated touch was added to the quirkiness with the men's wear loafers.
4. It was styled by Brad Goreski, celebrity fashion stylist.
5. There was a variety of shoes, from leopard print sneakers, black pumps with red red ribbons to furry booties.
