Michael Kors has been making quite a bang lately, what with his very trendy bags, and celebrities spotted wearing his latest designs. The Spring/Summer 2014 collection at New York Fashion Week was lovely to watch as he introduced sophistication and flare to the runway. I really like how a lot of his dresses have this professional feel to it, it's an encouragement for women to show up to the workplace looking very trendy.
Trends spotted at Michael Kors Spring/Summer 2014 collection:
1. Floral
2. Neutrals
3. Retro
4. Office Chic
5. Chiffon
Best thing about Michael Kors Spring/Summer 2014 Collection?
The creative use of belts and incorporating them into the outfits. It really gave the ensembles that perfect retro feel to them. I particularly liked the floral high-waisted swimsuits too. Michael Kors depicted the perfect 1950's woman in his line. Also the use of his bags was the perfect touch.
Worst thing about it?
There was only one look I wasn't fond of, and it was the beige potato pants, with the grey sweater and camel fur wrap. It seemed like he was trying to include the menswear trend in the line, but this was a major fail.
