Artsy. The right word for Reemami's Pre Fall 2014 capsule collection, inspired by the great Frida Kahlo. Reemami introduced super colourful designs that are specially tailored for a stylish powerful woman. Every piece channelled Frida Kahlo's whimsical paintings as each item seemed like a piece of art on its own. "I picked a few of my favorite paintings to include in my capsule collection." Reema Al Banna commenting on her inspiration behind the collection.
The collection's silhouettes ranged from full, fitted, to puffy. I personally loved the asymmetric cuts, effortless cutouts and the neat layering. It's worth mentioning that a percentage of the profits will be donated to Mawaheb from Beautiful People's in supporting artists with special needs, giving them the resources they need.
One thing I can say about this is, it screams youth, creativity and attitude.
