Is Exercising When You're Sick a Bad Idea and When Should You Go for It?
When you've caught a rough cold during this unpleasant weather, it is the easiest excuse to stay in bed and do nothing all day while having loved ones pamper you with soup and multiple cups of tea. And yes, that is probably the only good thing about being sick because on the other hand you actually feel like your body is extremely weak and you can't remember the last time you didn't feel this bad. So the question of "can you be exercising when you are sick?" might be worth a laugh for you...
However, there are many levels to having the flu, sometimes it's short and easy to handle, and this is when you can stop snoozing your Google Calendar alert reminding you to practice yoga and actually go do it.
Other times it can get advanced with throat inflammations, fevers and bad coughs and this is when you should be seeing a doctor and be on complete bed rest, binge watching Friends on Netflix.
