5 Hormonal Disorder Symptoms That You Should Never Ignore

We all know how winter gets us lazy and sleepy most of the time that it almost becomes an impossible mission to exercise in cold weather. However, sometimes laziness isn't just a winter sign. It could be an indication of hormonal disorder if accompanied by some other symptoms. Trust me, you don't want to overlook these signs; if you suffer from more than 1 or 2 of the following, then you should see a doctor immediately.

1. Acne

When you notice a lot of pimples on your face or acne starts to spread on any of your body parts, you should beware. One of the main symptoms of hormonal imbalance is acne with all of its types. That's why this sign shouldn't be ignored at all.

2. Hair loss

It is normal that we lose hair everyday. What isn't normal is noticing that your hair has lost its volume and thickness that some empty spots may start to appear. If this happens, it is a warning sign that there might be a hormonal imbalance in the hormones responsible for hair growth.

3. Irregular menstrual cycle


Many girls experience irregular menstrual cycles, but most of them usually consider it as a response from their body towards daily pressures and stresses. That's true, however, in case the menstrual cycle was late for over a month, a specialist should be consulted immediately because probably the reason would be a hormonal imbalance.

4. Weight loss


Weight loss is often related to hormones. Hormones can highly affect your appetite as well as your metabolism rate. Also, this effect isn't limited to weight loss, it could possibly be obvious weight gain. If you experience unjustified weight loss/gain, you should consider seeing a doctor.

5. Feeling lazy and sleepy most of the time


If you find yourself feeling lazy and unable to operate even if you have taken your daily caffeine portion, then you shouldn't overlook this symptom because probably it isn't just winter laziness but is directly related to hormonal imbalance.
