No matter what you're doing, your nails are always subject to abuse from either weather or chemicals. It's super important for all of us women to have beautiful nails. You don't need to spend a fortune and waste time visiting nail salons. Here are some home-made treatments for your nails, which will make your life a whole lot easier. All you need is a small bowl, cuticle stick, a small towel, and a cotton bud.

1. Exfoliating Scrub

Try this recipe to create an exfoliating scrub, that will help remove dead body and leave your nails soothed.

- Two tablespoons of sea salt

- Two teaspoons of oatmeal

- One teaspoon of baking soda

Put all this together and mix it with water, till the scrub takes the paste texture. Rub it over your hands and fingers, then rinse and dry your hands softly.

2. Nail Strengthener

We know quite well how irritating brittle and weak nails can be! Here's an outstanding mixture to regenerate your nails and help it gain strength.

- 1 Tea spoon of wheat germ oil

- 2 Tea spoons of castor oil

- 2 Tea spoons of table salt

Mix all these ingredients in a small bowl, stir well till they all blend perfectly together. Try to apply the mixture on each nail through rubbing your fingers, leave it for 5 to 10 minutes (make sure the solution soaked well in your nails) then wipe it off. Try to add it to your daily beauty routine and you'll have nice shaped long nails.

3. Softening Oils

Oils like Lavender and Chamomile can do magic to your nails! Put 2 table spoons of both oils in a small bowl full of warm water. Soak your hands in for 10 minutes then rinse them. These oils will keep your nails refreshed and softened. Try it and you'll be able to shape your nails easily. You can also add some drops of lemon juice for better results.
