Since it's summer season, walking barefoot on the beach or wearing sandals all day can keep your feet unprotected. Add some easy habits to your beauty routine that you can do at home to keep your feet soft.
1. Soak your feet at least once a week in warm soapy water for at least seven minutes. Add baby oil and sea salt for better cleansing effect. While washing, pay extra attention to the spaces between your toes. It's a sign of good hygiene. Make sure to remove dead skin smoothly all over your heels. After rinsing your feet, moisturize your toenails, ankles, heels and cuticle.
2. Massaging your feet can lead to a better health. No, I'm not over-exaggerating. Treat your feet well and offer it a foot massage every once and a while. Not only does it increases blood flow and circulation, but it also nourishes your overall foot condition. While sitting in bed or on your couch, rub the surface of your feet with your elbow and stretch you toenails through pushing them back and forth. You can also rub your entire feet gently.
3. When Vaseline and socks combine, that's a skincare routine that can do magic to your feet. Take care of your skin even when it's bedtime. Every night, coat your feet with Vaseline then wear a pair of thick socks and go to bed. Your feet will thank you every morning! Rinse them to remove any extra product.
4. Go easy on your nails and give them some break from nail polish. Apply a strengthening nail polish to your nails instead. Make sure to groom your nails with a pedicure every two weeks at least.
