I love fashion, but my excitement when I see an amazingly talented Arab fashion designer designing a great collection is hard to describe. That's exactly how I felt when I first went through Reemami's Fall/Winter 2014 collection. Arab fashion designer, Reema Al Banna of Reemami, loves to experiment with different and unordinary styles, which truly makes her pieces super unique. Can you picture funky feminine? That's what I mainly saw in Reemami's Fall/Winter 2014 collection. Honestly, I thought the pieces were fantastic, though a couple of looks could have been styled together differently to compliment each piece on its own more. I would see the woman wearing Reemami as the kind of girl who's not afraid to wear a statement and have people pointing at her saying "Look at her!".

Looking at the collection, it didn't capture one persona, but rather multiple women from different eras, it did have one thing in common though; the love of experimenting with fashion. The common factor present throughout most of the collection is mixing and matching unexpected fabrics and styles together. The designs that made it on top of my list include: the pink futuristic leather dress (I can't wait to get my hands on it!), the black leather dress with white lace detail (screams I'm bold yet I stay true to my feminine side) and two dresses with cut-out shoulders, one of which had a very vintage feel to it and the other I found super cool with the dangling additions to both sides of the waist. Picture this, or easier look at it below, a mix of mustard yellow, brown/nudish fabric with pattern, ruffles and lace, pretty funky right? Another design that caught my attention was the combination of flirty and classy in a clean cut LWD (little white dress) with an eye-catching coverup. Last, but certainly not least I've included a picture of the inverted dress, which is Reemami's signature style. She told me before the whole inverted dress idea started with her a long time ago, but took her quite some time to perfect it. It's a very interesting twist I might say! All in all the collection is pretty artsy and there's no better way to express your creative side than with wearing such unique pieces.
