The thing about Carolina Herrera's designs is that they always reflect an oldies classic feel to them, which is something I personally love. You can always count on Carolina to create an ensemble with the perfect balance between elegance and sophistication and her Spring/Summer 2014 collection lives up to her status quo. The line consisted mostly of elegant dresses, however there were a few pants and skirts that were perfectly matched with tops and flat sandals. Her line is something you would imagine Audrey Hepburn constantly wearing.
Trends spotted at Carolina Herrera Spring/Summer 2014 collection:

Best thing about Carolina/Herrera Spring/Summer 2014 collection:
I am in love with each and every long dress in this collection. The use of emerald green in the line was quite frequent, not only is the color amazing, but it's a color I haven't seen much of in the past few shows. I also admired how each and every outfit had a different pair of shoes to it, whether heels or flats, to go perfectly with the type of outfit. Also including the fedora hat with the artsy swimsuit was genius.
Worst thing about it?
I would have liked to see a bag or two on the runway. I know it is not expected, but her bags are truly artistic, that it would have been nice to see a clutch or two with one of the outfits. Also I truly loved her use of orange in the tops, and would have loved to see more of that type of outfits including pants and light jackets.
