Prabal Gurung kicked off his Spring/Summer 2014 collection at New York Fashion Week with a sequence of white outfits, moving on to pastels and then the print mania began. If you ask me, his pieces are not really my style, but I always enjoy artistic designs with vibrant colors. Prabal Gurung experimented with different fabrics, colors and styles and that's what made his Spring/Summer 2014 collection truly unique but not necessarily wearable.
Trends spotted at the Prabal Gurung Spring/Summer 2014 collection:
1. Mix of Prints
2. Pastels
3. White
4. Embellishments
5. Floor-lenth Jackets
6. Chiffon
Best thing about Prabal Gurung Spring/Summer 2014 collection?
It's a fresh collection with the right pop of color and variety of shapes and styles, there's certainly something for every woman in there. The sunglasses were really cool and did I mention that the floor-length jackets would work perfectly for a stylish hijab look?
Worst thing about it?
The pastel shades present at Prabal Gurung's Spring/Summer 2014 at New York Fashion Week weren't really the most complimenting ones. I'm not a big fan of the purplish pastel nor the shimmery lime green.
