The Chanel Pre-Fall 2015 fashion show took place last night in Salzburg, Austria, and there has been so much anticipation about it, starting with the absence of Cara Delevingne and Kendall Jenner from the 2014 Victoria's Secret fashion show model's list to be there instead, to the "Reincarnation" film, created and directed by Karl Lagerfeld to accompany the most recent Métiers d'art collection.

You're probably asking yourself, why did Karl Lagerfeld choose Salzburg to show Chanel's Pre-Fall 2015 collection? Each year, Chanel's Métiers d'art collection celebrates craftsmanship, and exceptional artisans, putting the spotlight on cities that are linked to the French house's history. This year, Karl Lagerfeld turned to Salzburg, Austria, where Coco Chanel found inspiration for one of her most iconic designs, the little black jacket,  after witnessing the jacket worn by the lift operator of Salzburg's Mittersill hotel. So, as you can tell, the Chanel Pre-Fall 2015 collection included a modern reincarnation of Chanel's signature designs, and none other than Cara Delevingne and Kendall Jenner closed the show.

Now take a look below at the "Reincarnation" film, telling the story of the origin of Chanel's iconic little black jacket, starring Cara Delevingne and Pharrell Williams, and also check out a few of our favorite looks from the 2015 Métiers d'art collection.
