I was going through my Instagram news feed checking out the live posts from New York Fashion Week when I spotted a dress and gasped from its beauty...that dress was from the Delpozo Spring/Summer 2014 collection. Showing at New York Fashion Week for the second time this season, the Spanish based label left us with a trail of romance. Inspired by a painting called 'Gypsy Woman with Tambourine' by Corot and the glass windows of cathedrals, Josep Font, the Creative Director of Delpozo sent out the models in voluminous frocks decked out in floral prints and pastel colors, he also used sheer fabrics and and intricate embellishing. One look after another, I was mesmerized by the dreamy appeal of the Delpozo Spring/Summer 2014 collection.
Trends spotted at Delpozo Spring/Summer 2014 collection:
1. Floral Prints
2. Ball Skirts
3. Frills
4. Sheer
5. Voluminous
Best thing about Delpozo Spring/Summer 2014 collection?
The lust-worthy finale dress, a modern day wedding gown with a sweetheart neckline and floral appliques.
Worst thing about it?
Being one of my favorite collections at New York Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2014 so far, I'm finding it hard to spot the worst thing about the Delpozo collection. It could be the fact that I won't be able to get my hands on all those pretty gowns.
