Highlights from London Fashion Week Fall 2013
As London Fashion Week Fall 2013 has come to an end, we're now looking back at its highlights! Mostly known to present a movement of eccentric fashion designers, London Fashion Week Fall 2013 has showcased the works of more than fifty fashion designers in true contemporary British style. One of the iconic fashion shows that take place during London Fashion Week is Burberry Prorsum, and for this Fall 2013, Christopher Bailey has presented a playful collection named 'Trench Kisses' that had animal and heart prints dominating the runway, some love in the air! Mary Katrantzou, or the Queen of Prints as I'd like to call her, has went monochrome at her London Fashion Week Fall 2013 fashion show, unexpected but she maintained her signature structures and cuts through her newly presented color palette. Another brand that has mastered prints is Peter Pilotto, presenting an array of bold patterns with statement outerwear with intense colors and impeccable tailoring. Defienetely one of my favorite shows from London Fashion Week Fall 2013. Christopher Kane's show included the kind of clothes that you know everybody will be after, camouflage prints and fur accents in shades of oxblood, cobalt blue and grey. After building up much anticipation for his first fashion show at London Fashion Week Fall 2013, it is sad that Tom Ford has kind of disappointed, a bit! With a 'Cross Cultural Multi Ethic' collection, Tom Ford presented animal and ethnic prints alongside with Ka-Pow cartoon inspired bomber jackets and evening gowns, lot's of beautiful looks for some reason it just didn't all come together. Topshop Unique, a show that presented relaxed looks with an urban feel and you know that it's budget friendly, what's not to love?
