Warning! This review will be extremely biased due to my unconditional love to Marc Jacobs and his style. If you accept those terms and conditions, please proceed in reading this feature. Eye makeup was the first thing I noticed at the Marc by Marc Jacobs Spring/Summer 2014 show, Marc Jacobs was able to pull off his new makeup line perfectly and smartly. The usual styling of Marc Jacobs showed in every garment. The models literally shined on with the variety of satin materials, pastel colors, floral prints and metallics.

Trends spotted at Marc by Marc Jacobs Spring/Summer 2014 collection:

1. Sequins

2. Over-sized Coats

3. Menswear

4. Bomber Jackets

5. Blazers

6. Color-blocking

7. Polka Dots

Best thing about Marc by Marc Jacobs Spring/Summer 2014 collection?

I loved how Marc Jacobs was able to tailor satin as a wearable casual material. His fun and fresh genuine style showed perfectly on the runway. The jumpsuits with sequined stars, loose pants and plain white sneakers added a fresh wave to the catwalk.

Worst thing about it?

Sorry Marc, you know I love you, but some satin pants looked like pajama pants. The choice of colors when it comes to satin-on-satin outfits was just wrong. Some models looked like circus dolls.
