Top Looks From Stella McCartney Spring/Summer 2014 Collection
I divided up the Stella McCartney show into two parts for this review, the part I liked and the part I disliked. To sum it up, I wasn't very fond of the first part of the show, it embraced the menswear trend in dull colors such as maroon red and navy blue, colors I don't really think are appropriate for spring time. As for the second part of the show, which coincidentally included Miranda Kerr and Cara Delivigne, was one of sheer elegance. I love looking at ensembles that can be worn in a professional environment, and then easily flipped to suit a night event, such as the floral pencil skirt and the nude/pinkish pantsuit. The metallic floral coat that Cara wore was stupendous, it is by far the perfect statement outerwear. As for the dresses, oh where to begin...the lace was absolutely perfect. Okay, maybe I am a bit biased due to my admiration for Miranda Kerr and my love for lace, but you can't deny, they are awesome! The detailing and styling of the lace was truly amazing, forming refined dresses. The added touch of using sunglasses throughout the show was a genius idea, most importantly they matched with each outfit and didn't look odd at all. I can't wait to get my hands on one of the sunglasses for next summer.
