It's Christmas Eve, and I know you're all rummaging through Pinterest to find some modern Christmas dinner table inspiration. With my growing love for Christmas, I've decided this year to decorate our dinner table regardless if it's being used or not.
So I did some research and packed up my mom's china and we started to play around in the office to set for your the easiest and most festive Christmas dinner table setting idea. This table has classic influences with the cutlery along with touches of a rustic aesthetic.
I love when you take ordinary items from your home and incorporate it into table decor, it's creative, unique and best of all won't take your minutes. My favorite thing about this is the contrasting sides of the centerpiece runner for an easy Christmas centerpiece. I loved creating a contrast between the two sides by adding baubles on side and balancing the other side with the pomegranate.
I found the faux leaves in Ikea, but you can easily pick out something from your garden or find fallen lives by the street side. I always like to look to nature and the environment around us for inspiration and you can easily find things that can be incorporated into your home decor.
Below are the steps for setting the plates and cutlery so you can follow along with us and don't forget to light the candles!
1. Place Mat
