Lentil Soup + Meat With Mustard + Chocolate Fudge Brownies
The Soup
Lentil Soup
You can find the recipe for lentil soup right here.
Main Dish
Meat with Mustard
What you will need:
1 Kilo of meat (cut into round pieces)
1 Tbsp Mustard
2 Tbsp Soya Sauce
1 cup of warm water
2 Tbsp of oil
Salt & Pepper
Steps:
1. Once you've cut the meat into round equal pieces, you need to fry them for 3-4 minutes until half cooked. So in a large cooking bowl, place the oil and the meat. Be sure to flip the meat on each side, you will find that the meat has changed to a lighter color.
2. In another cooking bowl, place the half cooked meat, add the cup of warm water, then leave it on the stove. You will notice that the water will lessen.
3. Once you feel half the water has evaporated add the soya sauce to the cooking bowl, and stir for a minute.
4. Next add the mustard to the bowl, and mix once more. The water should have turned into a brownish/yellowish mixture. Stir for a few minutes until mixture appears to be creamy. Add a pinch of salt and pepper.
5. Lower the heat and leave the meat on the stove for another 20 minutes.
6. Serve with rice.
Dessert
Chocolate Fudge Brownies
What you will need:
10 cubes of butter
1 1/4 cup of powdered sugar
1/4 tsp of salt
1 tsp of vanilla extract
2 eggs
1/2 cup of flour
28 grams of chocolate
Steps:
1. Preheat the oven to 325 degrees.
2. In a small cooking bowl, melt the butter and chocolate.
3. Remove the melted chocolate from the stove and add the powdered sugar and stir until the chocolate looks creamy and feels heavy.
4. In another plastic bowl, add the eggs and vanilla and mix with an electric blender until the mixture becomes fluffy with bubbles.
5. Add the flour and the salt to the eggs and stir thoroughly one more time.
5. Now add the chocolate to the bowl with the eggs and the flower. Mix with an electric blender until all ingredients have blended into one another, forming creamy chocolate batter.
6. Get a pan, and butter up the surface and the sides, so the brownies do not stick to it when it is done.
7. Pour the chocolate mixture evenly into the pan, then place it in the oven for 30-35 minutes.
8. Serve it with chocolate frosting for some extra deliciousness.
