10 Beauty Tips to Make You Look 10 Years Younger
Have you been looking in the mirror lately, and you don’t like what you see? Exhaustion, new aging lines, and dark circles under your eyes? Well, all of these things didn’t just pop out of nowhere, they are the result of many years of skin care neglect. So, if you want to look 10 years younger, you need to make some changes, and you need to stick to these changes from now on.
1. Look 10 years younger by quitting smoking, now.
Smoking is very harmful for your health in general, but most of us think that the harm is only going on internally. Well, that is not entirely true; men and women who smoke develop skin aging signs way earlier than men and women who don’t smoke. We’re talking here about wrinkles, aging lines, aging spots and even skin sagging. All of this result in a tired older looking person. Take the decision now to quit if you want to look 10 years younger, and to feel 10 years younger.
2. Look 10 years younger by drinking more water.
Do you know that 60% of our body is made of water? Hydration is a key to our well-being. When you drink water, you don’t only help your skin and body stay hydrated, but also you flush toxins out of your body. Toxins are one of the reasons why you feel fatigue, and why you constantly feel tired. 1.5 liter of water every day is enough to keep you looking great.
3. Look 10 years younger by adopting a balanced diet.
I remember the time when I used to eat junk food all the time, and still maintained a healthy weight. Nowadays, I only smell French fries, and I gain like five kilos. But a balanced diet is more than staying away from junk food, it’s about eating at the right times, like staying away from late-night cravings. Eat more vegetables, less protein and carbs. Don’t starve yourself, just eat in moderation and don’t give in to unhealthy cravings. This will all help you look 10 years younger.
4. Look 10 years younger by exerising.
So you just quit smoking, and you started a healthy eating lifestyle? It’s time for you to start exercising. If you haven’t step a foot into a running field or the gym for a while, please take it easy and gradually you’ll gain your fitness back.
5. Look 10 years younger by moisturizing your skin.
Your skin is the largest organ of the human body, and the most visible. So can we show it some love please? Your skin needs to be pampered and moisturized constantly. You neglect it and it will turn on you. My piece of advice, don’t use very expensive skin care products, I prefer natural products like virgin coconut oil and natural scrubs.
6. Look 10 years younger by keeping your skin safe from harmful sun rays.
Tanning is great; I personally love to take a tan, but you might want to re-consider how you take that tan. Sunblock won’t stop you from taking a tan, but it will partially protect you from harmful sun rays. You need to start tanning after 1 pm, that’s when the sun is less harmful. You need to drink a lot of water while you’re sitting in the sun. Too much exposure to the sun will dehydrate your skin, increase aging signs and cause skin sagging by time.
7. Look 10 years younger by reducing dark circles.
As I mentioned before, I don’t like expensive products. So to reduce dark circles under your eyes, here’s a natural homemade recipe to reduce dark circles using cucumber and cactus gel.
8. Look 10 years younger by tightening your skin naturally.
I personally find skin tightening surgeries ridiculous, if anything, they make you look older and like a plastic doll. However, you can always use a natural homemade pumpkin facial mask recipe, to keep the skin tight, glowing and youthful.

Honey and lemon might give you soft hands, but that’s not all, they also help you reduce aging spots.

You really need to switch off your thoughts when you go to bed, sleeping is crucial for a better looking body and a healthy mind. If you don’t get seven hours of sleep, get ready for mood swings, tired face and bags under your eyes. It’s not called beauty sleep for no reason. Sleeping gives your body the chance to rest and recharge for a better day. Did I mention that naps are crucial too?
