The Amina K. Spring Summer 2016 collection is rich in details and heritage not only patterns. A very ethnic story lies between the designs, inspired by the Egyptian fashion scene during the late 20’s and 30’s. The inspiration is represented in the merge between the need to become more practical, which was manifested in the light fabrics, and designs that would make it easy to live the modern lifestyle, with the oriental dress code.

The designer chose the Islamic geometric floral patterns to give the oriental feel to her collection. The Kaftan was initially designed to become a timeless piece, and the amount of attention to details given, made the collection rich in design and in heritage.
