I previously wrote a few ideas for you to consider for a fast healthy breakfast idea. Now, I am not sure if you have time to take out the blender and make yourself a breakfast shake before you head off on your day. However, if you could spare a few minutes, it is truly worth it. Breakfast shakes are a great way to start off your day as they are delicious and enriched with vitamins. It will also fill you up just as a full breakfast would.
Banana and Oats Breakfast Smoothie Recipe
What you will need:
Two Bananas
Two Teaspoons Honey
1/2 Cup Yogurt
1/2 Cup Milk
1/3 Cup Oatmeal
1 1/2 Cup Ice
Dash of Cinnamon
Steps:
1. It is quite simple, you throw all these ingredients in a blender. Make sure you put the ice the last thing.
2. Activate the blender for approximately 30-50 seconds.
3. Make sure the mixture is thick and all ice has been fully crushed. If you feel the mixture isn't as creamy, blend it for another 20-30 seconds.
4. Your smoothie should be a very thick beige color, then you'll know it's ready.
Tip: I would recommend you crush the oats before adding them, making the blender process easier.
