There's no shame in admitting that absolutely all of us feel like it's an impossible mission to get up on a winter morning. However, we all have to face the sad fact that we have to leave our blankets, and wake up to our daily responsibilities. Because I can relate so much to that struggle, I decided to bring you all the details you need to do this quick and easy morning makeup look. I do this every morning when I'm in a hurry. It is super affordable, saves me effort, and guess what? It only takes 5 minutes!
So let's get right into the steps:
1. First, I moisturize my face and prime it. This step is crucial to avoid any skin breakouts. I personally use my travel size Primerizer from Smashbox, for it does both jobs at once. However, if you're on a tight budget, you can use the Maybelline baby skin primer and moisturize your face with coconut oil.
2. Afterwords, I use no more than 2 drops of my foundation under my eyes, and I use my fingers to gently dab them in to get a smooth blend which surely helps to give a natural almost-no-makeup look. I use the Maybelline FitMe foundation.
PS: You can use a concealer instead; all what matters is that it matches your skin tone.
3. Here's the magical tip, I use the Maybelline Matte Sensational lipstick (Shade: 986 Melted Chocolate) to give a light tint to both my cheeks and lips! Remember, dab the lipstick on the lips, and apply a little product on the cheeks then rub with your hands to blend the color into your skin. This will help you achieve a more natural fresh look than using a powder blush!
4. Because an eyeliner could be too bold, I don't prefer it for a morning look. So I use a very little amount of any dark eye shadow and apply it carefully, close to my upper lash line. I use the darkest shade from L'Oreal's Nude Rose eyeshadow palette which is very budget friendly. Tip: Prime your lids well before you apply the shadow to guarantee it staying on all day.
