1. Men are looking for companionship in marriage:

Men are just like us, they're looking for true feelings too! Aside from the all the romantic talking, marriage is all about communication and friendship. If you can't be each other's best friends, how can you survive the ups and downs of life? What a man really wants in a marriage is that you can be his best friend, he should be able to have fun with you, and be able to share with you his thoughts without feeling judged or stressed. So, if you want him to engage in your activities, communicate and learn to enjoy his activities with him too. 

2. Men are looking for understanding in marriage:

Like we mentioned in the previous point, being best friends is the key to a happy and healthy relationship. So, be understanding if he's having a bad day and would like to just sit down and watch a movie. We're not talking about the man who's always feeling tired, bored and doesn't like to enjoy life. But if your man is going through a rough time, just be supportive, and accepting to the phase he's going through. 

3. Men are looking for sex in marriage:

Men will always be men, so you better be prepared to boost his mood with a special night. Men and women both have sexual desires; you can't be busy and not in the mood for a long time, give him excuses every night, and then wonder why he's grumpy and distant. Think of sex with your husband as a fun time that you spend together, not thinking about any troubles you're facing, and releasing the stress that life is giving you at the moment.

4. Men are looking for a warm meal on the table at the end of the day:

Okay - if there's any man reading this article now, this is not made to point out that your wife has to cook every night for you. It just means that part of feeling warm and loved is to eat a nice and warm homemade meal. This meal can be done by both of you if you want to spend time together, but sharing a warm meal together is important.

5. Men are looking to be wanted not needed in marriage:

Your guy got married to you knowing that you can handle whatever trouble life throws at you, he knows that you are your own boss, but he would like to feel like a man when he's with you, so let him be. Think of it this way, that you're strong enough to let someone else open the door for you, or just be there for you when you really want him to be there. You want him to be your backbone, but you don't need him to be one. Be strong enough to let him know that you want him in your life, in your decisions and the happy times too!
