Next come 200 grams of mascarpone, the creamy cheese that forms the velvety heart of the dessert; 2 fresh eggs, separating the yolks from the whites; 60 grams of sugar, to sweeten and balance the flavours; about a cup and a half of strong coffee, ideal for dipping the Ladyfingers; and finally, 20 grams of cocoa powder for the finishing touch.

As regards the creation phase, it begins by beating the egg yolks with the sugar until a creamy and homogeneous mixture is obtained. The mascarpone cheese is then gently added, followed by the stiffly beaten egg whites, which give the cream lightness and fluffiness.



The heart of the recipe resides in achieving harmony among all the ingredients: the Vicenzovo Ladyfingers are quickly dipped in coffee and arranged on a flat plate, creating the first layer. A further layer of mascarpone cream is spread on top, continuing with this alternating sequence until the dessert is fully assembled. Finally, the preparation includes a generous sprinkling of cocoa powder, which gives a colour and taste contrast.
