Ramadan Iftar Menu: Day 27
Chicken Noodle Soup + Fried Chicken with Basil + Chocolate Fondue
The Soup

Main Dish
Fried Chicken with Basil
What you will need:
1/2 kilo chicken breasts
3 Tbsp olive oil
1 onion
Salt and pepper
3 cloves garlic (minced)
2 colored peppers
2 Tbsp vinegar
1 1/2 cup fresh basil leaves
2 Tbsp soy sauce
Steps:
1. Start by seasoning the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, vinegar and some of the garlic. Leave it covered in a bowl for a couple of hours in the fridge.
2. In a cooking pan, heat 2 tbsp of olive oil and fry the chicken for a couple of minutes until half cooked. Once the chicken turns a brownish color, remove from cooking pan.
3. In another cooking pan, add the remaining olive oil, onion, second half of the garlic and bell peppers. Be sure to flip them on both sides and cook for around three minutes.
4. Now get a pan, and add the chicken and the peppers you just fried in the previous step.
5. Next, add the soy sauce and basil leaves to the pan and cook, flipping the chicken on both sides until fully cooked.
Dessert
Chocolate Fondue
What you will need:
3/4 cup heavy cream
1/2 kilo dark chocolate
Fruits of your preference
Steps:
1. Cut the chocolate into small pieces.
2. In a sauce pan, heat the cream and the chocolate. Stir together until the chocolate melts and the outcome is a brown creamy mixture.
3. Place the fondue in a small bowl and serve with diced fruits or even small pieces of brownies.
