We are always searching for natural ways to color our hair. Let’s face it, traditional coloring with dyes hurts our hair and scalp no matter what we do. And if you have damaged hair from coloring and heat, you better search for natural coloring ways. I found this one by absolute chance and here is everything you need to know about how to color your hair naturally with anise oil.
I am a brunette with a hair color lighter than most brunettes, but growing up it kept getting darker and it made me very upset.
One day, I was looking up a natural way to fight dandruff and I came across this recipe. It is very simple, you mix raw anise oil with apple cider vinegar and then apply them to your hair before washing it. After applying it and washing it the usual way, my hair looked a shade or two lighter! The same thing happened to my sister too.
I also noticed that my dandruff problem was so much better than before. However, I went a bit further and tried anise oil alone on my hair a couple of times. I applied it all over my hair and scalp and let it sit for half an hour before washing it with shampoo and conditioner. The results were even better with respect to the color but unfortunately, my hair felt a bit dry after this.
So, if you are looking for a natural hair coloring alternative, I recommend you try this one but remember to deep condition your hair in order to overcome the dryness that follows.
