 Salads are an essential and important dish on any Iftar table. And so, while we were preparing for Ramadan Iftar 2024 menu, we knew we had to include some amazing salads for Ramadan. Salads are simple to make and so easy to impress people with. Your family will be very pleased. So, here are salad recipes for every day of Ramadan

 

 

Here Are 30 Salad Recipes for Ramadan Iftar: 

 

1. Green Salad Recipe

 

Green Salad Recipe

 

Ingredients:  

 

- 1 cup arugula   

 

- 1 cup finely chopped spinach  

 

- 1 cucumber, sliced  

 

- 1 cup colored lettuce  

 

- 1 Tbsp olive oil  

 

- 1 Tbsp of lemon juice  

 

- 1/4 tsp salt  

 

- 1 or more boiled eggs

 

Steps: 

 

1. Mix the arugula, spinach, cucumber and lettuce in a bowl.  

 

2. Add the salt, olive oil, and lemon juice.  

 

3. Cut the eggs into halves or slices and garnish the salad bowl with it.

Ingredients:

 

- 1 cup boiled chickpeas  

 

- 1/2 cup feta cheese  

 

- 1 Tbsp of chopped parsley  

 

- 1/4 tsp black pepper  

 

- 1/4 tsp cumin  

 

- 2 Tbsp of lemon juice 

 

- 2 Tbsp of olive oil

 

Steps:

 

1. Mix the chickpeas, parsley, and cheese.  

 

2. Mix in the spices and then add the olive oil and lemon. 

 

6. Tahini Sauce Recipe

 Ingredients:

 

 - 1 cup of tahini

 

- 3/4 cup of lemon juice

 

- 2 tbsp of water

 

- 1 tsp crushed garlic

 

- 1 tsp of salt

 

- 1/4 tsp cumin

 

Steps:

 

1- Mix the tahini, garlic, and lemon juice in the blender.

 

2- Add salt and cumin to the ingredients and mix well.

 

3- Pour the mixture into a bowl.

 

4- Stir the tahini well and then serve it.

 

5- Chopped parsley can be added to the tahini if you like.

Ingredients:

 

- 150 g grilled eggplant, mashed

 

- 1/4 chopped red bell pepper

- 1 small onion, chopped  

 

- 2 tbsp of olive oil  

 

- 1 tsp lemon juice  

 

- 1/4 tsp salt

 

- 1/4 tsp finely chopped mint  

 

- A Tbsp of pine nuts for garnish

 

Steps:

 

1. Mix the eggplant with the red and green bell peppers.  

 

2. Add the mint and onion and mix well.  

 

3. Add the olive oil and salt, then garnish with the pine nuts.

- 3 peeled and mashed avocados

 

- Lemon juice

- 3 tbsp chopped coriander

 

- 2 chopped small tomatoes

 

- 1tsp minced garlic

 

- A pinch of ground red pepper

 

 Avocado salad steps:

 

1- Mix the mashed avocado, lemon juice and salt in a bowl.

 

2- Add the onion, garlic, coriander, and tomatoes to the avocado mixture.

 

3- Put the chili peppers on the salad and then stir well.

 

4- Leave the salad in the refrigerator for at least an hour before serving.

 

 

14. Broccoli Salad Recipe

Ingredients:

 

- Broccoli cut into smaller flowers  

 

- 1 small onion, sliced  

 

- 1 yellow bell pepper, sliced  

 

- 1 red bell pepper, sliced

 

The Sauce: 

 

- 1 Tbsp mustard  

 

- 4 cups olive oil  

 

- Pinch of black pepper  

 

- Salt, to preference

 

Steps:

 

1. Wash the broccoli well and cook it, steaming them. 

 

2. Add the broccoli, peppers and onion to a bowl. 

 

3. Mix all the sauce ingredients and pour them over the veggies, stirring them well.  

 

4. Transfer the salad to another serving dish.

- 1/2 cup of black olives

 

- 2 tbsp parsley for garnish

 

- 1/4 tsp of salt

 

- 1/4 teaspoon dried herbs

 

- 1 tbsp of lemon juice

 

- 1 tbsp olive oil

 

Steps:

 

1- Mix the tomatoes, colored peppers and onions in a bowl.

 

2- Add the cheese and olives and stir well.

 

3- Mix the lemon juice, salt, olive oil and herbs and add the mixture to the salad dish.

 

4- Garnish the salad with parsley on a serving plate.

Ingredients:

 

For the quinoa

 

- 1 cup of quinoa

 

- 1tsp olive oil

 

- a Pinch of salt

 

For the salad

 

- 1 large, chopped tomato

 

- 1/2 cup of chopped lettuce

 

- 1/2 bunch arugula

 

- 1/2 cup chopped parsley

 

- 2 tbsp of balsamic vinegar or lemon

 

- 1/4 cup of olive oil

 

- Pinch of salt and black pepper

 

 Quinoa salad steps

 

1- Wash the quinoa thoroughly and then wrinkle it.

 

2- put the quinoa in the refrigerator for a few hours.

 

3- In a bowl, add tomatoes, lettuce, watercress, mint, parsley and quinoa.

 

4- Top with vinegar or lemon, olive oil, salt and pepper, stir to mix and then serve.

Ingredients:

 

- 1 tbsp salt


- 1 garlic clove, peeled and mashed


- 1/2 cup of lemon juice


- 1 cup of olive oil


- 1 cup vegetable oil

 

Steps:

 

1- Mix crushed garlic with salt and lemon juice in the blender.


2- Gradually add the vegetable and olive oil and continue whisking until it becomes like mayonnaise.


3- Pour it into a serving dish and leave a little until firm.

 

 

22. Corn and Lettuce Salad Recipe

Ingredients:

 

- 1 can of sweet corn  

 

- 1 cup chopped lettuce  

 

- 1/4 cup mayonnaise  

 

- 2 Tbsp of yogurt  

 

- 2 Tbsp mustard  

 

- 1/4 tsp salt and black pepper  

 

- 1 tomato, chopped  

 

- 1/4 tsp garlic powder  

 

- 1/4 cup grated cheddar cheese  

 

Steps:

 

1. Mix the lettuce, corn, and tomato in a bowl.  

 

2. Mix the mayonnaise, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and mustard.  

 

3. Pour the sauce over the salad and garnish with the cheddar cheese.

- 1 large, chopped cucumber 

 

- 2 tbsp olive oil

 

- 2 cups lettuce

 

- Lemon juice

 

- Shami bread cut into squares and toasted

 

- 2 tbsp pomegranate molasses

 

- 1 tbsp sumac

 

- 2 chopped horseradish

 

Steps:


 1- Mix the tomatoes, radishes, cucumbers, lettuce and peppers in a bowl.

 

2- Add the chopped onions, mint and parsley and stir well.

 

3- Mix olive oil, lemon juice, sumac and pomegranate molasses in a bowl.

 

4- Pour the mixture over the vegetable mixture.

 

5- Spread the toast and serve.

- 1 Tbsp of pomegranate molasses  

 

- 2 Tbsp of olive oil  

 

- 1 Tbsp of lemon juice 

 

Steps:

 

1. Mix the arugula with the mushrooms and onions in a bowl.  

 

2. Add the salt, black pepper, oil, lemon juice, and pomegranate molasses, and stir.

Ingredients:

 

- 1 Eggplant black turkey

 

- 1/2 cup tahini

 

- 1 tbsp wiped minced garlic

 

- 3 tbsp of olive oil

 

- 1tsp of chili

 

- 1 tsp of black pepper

 

Steps:

 

       1- Grill the eggplant by placing it on the grid in the oven.

 

2- Make sure that the outer shell is perfectly soft.

 

3- leave it until it cools completely, then peel it and put in the blender.

 

4- put all the ingredients already mentioned and mix them all well in a large bowl.
