Whiteheads are bacteria that rest on your skin and clog your pores forming mini white heads. Whiteheads are usually present on and around the nose, cheeks, and around the brow. You think when you press your nose or cheeks it will go away? Big no no! If you want your whiteheads banished, check out these three homemade facials to treat whiteheads.
1. Tomato mask
Ever imagined that the tomato slices you munch on everyday can make a facial mask? Cut a few slices of tomatoes and place them on your whiteheads. The juice will purify your skin and leave it cleansed. Leave it for around 15 minutes then wash your face with warm water.
2. Balsamic vinegar mask
Warning: If you're a balsamic vinegar addict then try, just try not to eat this facial before applying it on your face. Mix two tablespoons of balsamic vinegar along with two tablespoons of sea salt in a medium sized bowl. Leave the paste aside for around four hours. When it's ready, scrub your face well with the mixture by concentrating on the whiteheads. This mask will not only cleanse your skin, but it will also act as protective shield to your skin against whiteheads.
3. Egg and honey mask
Eggs and especially egg whites are known to be one of the best natural facial moisturizers to treat acne and leave skin smooth. Combine both egg whites and honey in a proportionate amount and stir them well. Apply it on your face and let it sink in for 30 minutes, watch it work its magic. Rinse off with warm water.
