Six Makeup Tips for a Radiant Look During Wintertime

Let’s look radiant this winter, and let's learn how to apply the prettiest winter makeup looks ever! During wintertime, my skin gets dry and pale, like many women, but the right makeup can make it glow and look radiant. That’s why I'm sharing six makeup tips every woman needs to know to get a radiant look during wintertime.

1. A radiant makeup look starts with the right base...

Before you put on your makeup, day or night, you need to prepare your face for makeup by making sure that it's clean and fresh. This way, you won’t lock any dirt or excessive oil inside your pores with makeup. Then, you need to put on a suitable moisturizer for your skin, just a small amount. Even if you have an oily skin, you need to put on some moisturizer during wintertime. Make sure you leave the moisturizer to soak into your skin for 10 minutes, before putting on your foundation or BB crème.

2. Choose the right foundation for the right time of the year.

During summertime, we all use a slightly darker foundation shade and BB crème, to highlight the gorgeous summer tan. But if you continue to use it during wintertime, you’ll probably end up looking orange and the difference between your face’s color and your neck color will show. 3. Use peach and pumpkin makeup palettes, to substitute your bronzer during wintertime for a more natural look.

So instead of using bronzer during wintertime, use peach and pumpkin makeup palettes. They’ll give a nice and warm feeling to your skin tone. Your bronzer will give your skin a fake and orange tan, which is not the winter glow you want at all!

4. Highlight your  eyebrows

Thick eyebrows are the trendiest thing right now, so you need to start paying attention to them by putting the right oils before you go to bed, and letting them grow. Avoid getting them tattooed, your natural eyebrows will weaken, and they’ll eventually look unnatural and you’ll be stuck with them for at least six months. If you want, you can accentuate your eyebrows with a matching eyebrow powder color, just to fill in the gaps.

5. A strong and dark lipstick needs soft and glowing eyes

If you decided to wear a dark lipstick, just make sure you don’t wear heavy eye makeup. The softer your eye makeup, the prettier you’ll look. This look is perfect for an evening hangout or even morning hangouts.
