We've seen a lot this season at Paris Hate Couture Fashion Week for Spring Summer 2020. We talked about the trends, accessory styling inspired by Elie Saab and the runway looks that every Hijabi should see. Now we have to end things off with the bridal looks from the spring summer 2020 collections and runway.
We wanted to make it diverse, so we picked very different types of wedding dresses so we can show you the latest bridal trends for every type of bride. This year the bridal trends are all about a very bold bride who's not afraid to think outside the box and wear something dramatic and different that says something about her character.
Also we can still see a lot modest wedding dresses and wedding dresses with sleeves, which we've been seeing a lot of lately especially in celebrities' choices for their wedding dress. We also picked some looks with jackets and blazers and some shorter dresses for your pre-wedding events and parties.
Here are some of the latest bridal trends for spring summer 2020:
Dramatic and bold wedding veils
The veils were really the standout this year. Veils are getting bigger and more intricate each year and we know the modern bride is going to love that. Givenchy created an art piece of a veil that got everyone in awe, showing us that bigger is better this year and floral is the way to go. Elie Saab had a beautiful bridal look with a very beautiful princess wedding gown and standout headpiece.
Wedding dresses with feather details
We know that feathers have been everywhere this year and they're slowly getting integrated in a lot areas in fashion, including bridal. We fell in love with how these looks for a modern bride had very interesting and intricate feather detailing that gave the dress a touch of sophistication and femininity.
Wedding dresses with belts
We noticed that belts have been really popular with evening dresses. But now they're back for wedding dresses as well. We saw at Elie Saab beautiful velvet ribbon belts. At Alexis Mabille simple white belts defined the waists. We also loved Chanel's very unique bridal look with buttons finishing right before a classic ivory belt. Belts are chic and really flattering, so it's something to consider for your wedding dress.
For simple brides and pre-wedding events...
Now let's take things to another direction with very creative and out of the box bridal looks. We wanted to add some things in here that even though they might not be intended as wedding looks, they would be great for pre-wedding events, engagement parties and Katb Ketabs. They're also for the minimal brides who want to go for something very simple, elegant and unique.
