Gaya

As a Korean cuisine gourmand, I have to dive into Korean restaurants first. Gaya is one of the best Korean restaurants in Cairo in regard to everything. As soon as you walk in, you’ll feel like you’ve been transported to Korea with its amazing decorations that truly add to the place. The restaurant is operated by Koreans so the food is authentic and just perfect. It’s located on Street 231, Maadi.

Hana

Here’s to another Korean restaurant that I personally adore for various reasons. The owner is super sweet; she’d make you feel at home. The menu is diverse so you can choose from plenty of dishes. Even the staff will recommend you some of the best meals if you’re trying Korean for the first time. Needless to say, the food is yummy and the prices are reasonable. Many celebrities visit this restaurant so often, especially Ahmed El-Fishawy; he’s a regular customer. You can find it on Hassan Assem Street in Zamalek.

Kokio

How to Fit Self-Care Activities Into Your Busy Week?

Whether you live near Maadi or New Cairo, you’ll find a Kokio restaurant branch just around the corner. Aside from the delicious food and eye-catching decoration of the restaurant, Kokio is the right place for you if you’re craving fried chicken, especially honey and spicy Korean chicken. For a full Asian experience, visit FengCha – a bubble tea shop that is located right next to Kokio.

Hai Tian Dumpling House

Owned by “Ramadan El-Seiny,” this dumpling place is everything you need to taste Chinese delicacies. Perhaps it is the oldest continuously-operating Chinese restaurant in the neighborhood; the establishment only grows better with time. The place is really laid back and they have a huge (and genuine) selection. The noodle soup in their "California Beef Noodle Bowl" is arguably the greatest available in Egypt.

Sabai Sabai

If you’re craving Thai food or interested to know how it tastes, here is the first-ever Thai restaurant in Cairo, Sabai Sabai. This is, hands down, the sole reliable source for noodles in the Zamalek/Downtown/Mohandessin neighborhoods.

Did you know that Japanese food isn’t just sushi? Makino, located on Mohamed Mazhar Street, Zamalek, is the right place to go when you’re looking for an authentic Japanese experience. The staff is amazing and polite and the chef makes the most delicious food ever. No wonder why this restaurant has been ranked number one on Tripadvisor as the best Japanese restaurant in Cairo.

This Japanese restaurant is a hidden gem located in Wonderland Mall, Nasr City. No matter what comes to your mind, you’ll find it there. From Ramen to fried noodles to amazing desserts, the variety is mind-blowing. The place is a bit small, but the experience is so worth it.

Fuego

Although you may know Fuego as one of the top Sushi restaurants in Egypt, it has a lot more than this to offer. You can find several other dishes on the menu. The best thing about this restaurant is that it has several branches across Cairo, such as New Cairo, Zamalek, and Sheikh Zayed, so you can find it easily. It is recommended to call and reserve before you go, especially on weekends.

Peking is, without a doubt, among the most popular Chinese restaurants in Egypt. The shellfish Kun Pao and the chicken with mushrooms and bamboo are some of the dishes you must try. The restaurant has several branches in Heliopolis, Sheikh Zayed, Tagamo3, Rehab, Nasr City, Maadi, and Dokki.

Besides these restaurants, several restaurants also offer amazing Asian food and an unforgettable Asian cuisine experience. Moreover, although some may consider Indian food as part of Asian cuisine, we’re on the team that doesn’t. Maybe we’ll dedicate another article to the Indian restaurants in Egypt. Now, which one of the listed restaurants are you going to try next?
