Adjust your alarms
If you usually sleep at 12 a.m. every night, you’ll automatically sleep at 11 p.m. when the winter timing is back. This is a good thing as it will help you sleep earlier and longer. However, you’ll need to adjust your alarms. For example, if you’re used to waking up at 7am, make sure your alarm is still at 7am when you change the phone’s clock.
Create a sleeping schedule
Limit your sleep time to eight hours. A healthy adult needs a minimum of seven hours of sleep per night. Go to bed and wake up at the same hour every day, including weekends. Consistency strengthens the sleep-wake cycle in your body and will help you adjust to the winter timing. If you have trouble falling asleep, get out of bed and relax. Read a book or play some relaxing music. When you are exhausted, go back to bed. Repeat as necessary, but keep your bedtime and wake-up time the same.

Pray on time
Because prayer times will be an hour earlier, make sure you pray on time. Al Dhuhr prayer, for example, will be at 11:39 am once the winter timing is back. That’s why it is best to pray on time before getting swamped at work or forgetting to pray before 2:49 pm (Al asr prayer time).
Get used to short mornings
Since sunrise will be an hour earlier, unfortunately, daytime will be shorter. Sunset will be at 5:13 pm so it’ll be dark by 6 pm. This may affect some people’s mood, so make sure you get used to short mornings, either by waking up an hour earlier or avoiding wasting time in the morning to make each hour count.
