I've tried using a lot of foundations, but I usually end up not liking most of them because I always feel like my skin looks like I have a layer of makeup on my face and it just doesn't look natural to me.
What really grabbed my attention when I first tried the Lancôme Rénergie Lift Makeup Foundation was how lightweight it is. It almost doesn't feel like you have a foundation on, it feels like a really light BB cream, although it is a moderate to full coverage foundation and does give me lot of coverage.
Oily Skin & Longevity
I also found that it doesn't highlight my oily skin. I have combination skin, which means that some parts are dry and others are oily. The good thing about this Lancôme foundation is that even though it targets normal to dry skin types, it doesn't show any oiliness on my skin as the day progresses.
It is also long lasting and stays looking very natural and light, which I really love. You could also easily apply any makeup you want on top of it and it will stay put throughout the day.
SPF & Fine Lines
The great thing about it as well is that it has SPF 20, this extra protection is awesome and good for when you forget to apply sunscreen. However a foundation with sunscreen is not a replacement, it is just a bonus or backup in case you forget to apply sunscreen. In any case you still shouldn't be exposing your skin to too much sun, especially if you don't have enough SPF on. I usually apply it on top of my sunscreen because I don't like leaving the house without it. It blends out perfectly and easily, and it's great with layering, whether layering underneath it or top of it.
It is also has a 'Micro-Lift™ technology with Pure Vitamin E' which is claimed to help with luminosity and giving the skin a youthful and healthy look. I found that it does fill out any little fine lines and makes them less visible.
