Milan Fashion Week ended after leaving a mark on this spring 2020 ready-to-wear fashion week with strong fashion and vibrant trends. Tropical and jungle prints were very popular as well as bright colors unexpectedly paired together. So check out the 3 Milan Fashion Week trends that caught our attention the most.
Tropical Prints Trend
Tropical prints were presented in various unique ways at shows like Dolce & Gabbana. Their designs consisted of many looks inspired by the print from blouses to skirts and dresses. Of course we cannot forget about Versace with Jennifer Lopez's appearance in the end with a re-interpretation of her iconic Versace Grammy's dress. The collection all tied in to the concept and it was definitely one for the books. Giorgio Armani also presented the print, but a little differently using less vibrant shades and more muted soft pastels.
Bright Color Pairings Trend
Bright colors isn't a new trend this year, neon has been very present for a while now. However, this year we found the color pairings to be quite interesting. Unexpected color pairings like orange-pink and blue-green were refreshing to see at Marni. There were also looks like dresses with mixed color palettes like pink and yellow like at Gucci.
DIY Fashion Trend
Tie dye and DIY looking fashion was a big trend in 2019 and is probably resuming up to summer 2020. At MSGM there were pants with Tie Dye print in rose palettes. There were also a faded negative space denim overalls at Alberta Ferretti that caught us by surprise.
